Paola Faini<\/p><\/div>\n

Bionote<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paola Faini is professor of English Language and Translation at Roma Tre University. She has mainly published in the field of Translation Studies (essays and two monographs, Tradurre. Dalla teoria alla pratica<\/em> and Tradurre. Manuale teorico e pratico<\/em>) and Terminology (articles, a monograph and an edited collection of essays).<\/p>\n

She has coordinated the Italian edition of \u00a0the Oxford Illustrated History of English Literature<\/em> and has translated and edited works by Lessing, Woolf, Maugham, Stoker, Carroll, Fielding, Ford.<\/p>\n

In recent years she has published contributions on Shakespearean adaptations\/rewritings. Her Italian translation of two plays by Sulayman Al-Bassam,\u00a0 The Al-Hamlet Summit <\/em>and Richard III. An Arab Tragedy<\/em> is forthcoming in the Summer 2018. She is currently working on some unpublished dramatic monologues by the same author.<\/p>\n

Besides some essays on Shakespearean adaptations and rewritings, she has edited and translated two plays by Sulayman Al-Bassam,\u00a0\u00a0The Al-Hamlet Summit\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Richard III. An Arab Tragedy<\/em>\u00a0(Carocci, 2019). She is currently working on three unpublished dramatic monologues by the same author.<\/p>\n
